i can't recall the exact words but the gist of the whole thing was that people born under this year are ruled by the prospect of the 'impossible' — as soon as have you attained your goal, you lose interest and move on to the next 'impossible' objective. i must admit that i was incredulous at first, and yes just a bit piqued, too. cripes, somehow it sounds like whoever it was who wrote this thing is telling me i'm faithless and inconsistent. after awhile, i realized that in an indirect way it was true. the concept of 'the impossible' isn't really as derogatory as it sounds. in many ways, the quest for some conceivably 'impossible' task has spurred man to leave his comfort zone and explore his surroundings, chart unknown lands, colonize new territories, and even reach the moon. eventually, it is man's inherent restlessness and search for answers that will drive him on to visit other planets and heavenly objects within his reach. i don't think it's good idea to just be content with what we have achieved and reached, because as soon as we become self-satisfied and smug about our accomplishments our impetus to strive for growth and improvement suffers. discontentment, if channeled properly, is an excellent motivation to create and improve one's situation. this also reminds me of a college chum who basically said the same thing to me after listening to my complaints and gloomy review of my future prospects. "i think people should not be complacent whatever their prospects are. if everything is perfect, what else is there to strive for?" I usually don't put much store in horoscopes, but for some reason my eyes zeroed in on a couple of paragraphs that pertained to my zodiac sign while i was reading an article on chinese horoscope/zodiac system.
Impossible is nothing. Sabi nga ng ADIDAS.

Anyways, here’s my comment:
I agree! But according to my genes I’m both self-satisfied and ambitious so~ uhmm.. I’m confused if it totally applies to me.
Uhm… let’s just learn to give up when things really are impossible, shall we?.. haha
alvin you seem to be in a ‘hyper’ mood these days. still i’m glad to know you’re ok. you’re still under medication? — hey, are you sure it’s not laughing gas?
if the adidas marketing guys are reading this, you ought to give zarine a huuuge discount for plugging your brand (*thumbs up*)

Well, you can say I’m hyper because one of my best friends just got engaged last weekend. Darn, I’m always the best man or part of the entourage but never the groom…. huhuhu

Climb the highest mountain and when you reach the summit I’ll be there to take you even higher. I’m SUPERMAN! hahahaha
Sorry I’m under medication!
I used to check my horoscope religiously when I was living abroad (out of boredom) but now I only believe in one thing - nothing is impossible! I can hear Fantasia singing “I Believe!”
