all weekend long i had been seriously considering hanging up my keyboard for good (figuratively speaking) because i'd been having a dry spell lately — can't think of anything worthwhile to write about (just plain lazy, i guess).
my weekend has been rather hectic. i've been from one end of manila to the other, but i never seem to get anywhere. for one reason or another, the thought of writing another post seemed too much of an uphill struggle.
that is, until a friend told me that she had checked our respective page rank and what do you know — for the first time (ever), our respective blogs actually attracted enough traffic to show up on google's PR radar. my first reaction was, "no kidding. well, it's probably just a fluke or something."
i got curious so i checked it out. i ended up using 3 different PR meter sites, with similar results. *passes out in shock* (see this laughing horse on the left? that's his reaction when he sees me flat on the floor. it was his braying laugh that revived me). okay. i don't know what brought this on (i'm not about a look a gift horse in the mouth heheh), but i have this weird feeling that this has something to do with those google ads that i.Ph had inserted earlier in our blogs. speaking of which, whatever happened to them anyway?
nope. i’m not touching these ‘updates’ until they’ve settled down somewhat
— each time i touch these things they always do something unexpected
Thanks for telling me about this. I attribute my rank to my post about John Cass’ book on blogging, “Strategies and Tools for Corporate Blogging” (hehe! pa-advertise naman ulit!). Seems my blog turns up on del.icio.us when the book’s title is searched. What do you think?

Posted by Daisy at May 11, 2007, 2:37 pmthanks guys! i’m still puzzled as to how it happened — last time i checked it was still a big, fat zero… *scratches head* does this mean we’re doing something right for a change? cheers

I didn’t notice that the google ads are missing until you took note of it.
Posted by zarine at May 9, 2007, 1:38 pmHave you utilize the new side bar options? I haven’t been lucky to install the java applications (widgets and stuff) yet but all my custom contents are gone now because of these updates.
